Jesus made it plain that His Words conveyed “Spirit and life," which is the highest kind of impartation that words can communicate (John 6:63). No other book than the Bible can minister Spirit and eternal life to its readers unless it contains the Word of God presented in an attitude of faith.

Our Story

Twin Pillars Press is an independent publisher founded by Pastor Michael Christian in 2017 in Paradise, California. Pastor Michael’s ambitious goal is to offer books with the same professional standards as major book houses.

Previously, having helped many with their book publishing needs, Pastor Michael felt it time to publish his own books, the fruit of decades of Bible scholarship.

Twin Pillars Press does not accept unsolicited manuscripts or take on publishing projects from other authors. However, Pastor Michael consults freely with those with publishing plans. We occasionally distribute published works from other authors that meet our criteria.

What Do the Twin Pillars Represent?

The “twin pillars” are the two oaths God swore to bring great consolation to His people. (Hebrews 5:6, 10, 6:13-7:28)

Pillar One

The first is the great oath of the covenant God swore to Abraham, “Surely blessing I will bless you and multiplying I will multiply you. Your Seed shall possess the gate of their enemies, and in your Seed all the nations of the world will be blessed” (Genesis 22:16-18). The Seed of Abraham is Christ, and the blessing of this oath came fully upon Him. We too, as believers "in Christ," are also Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise. (Galatians 3:13-29) Contained in this first oath is God's fourfold promise to bless His people in Christ.

Pillar Two

The second pillar is a second oath God swore making Christ our High Priest. Though God has promised to bless us in Christ, many Christians feel unworthy to receive His blessings, disqualifying themselves. Fortunately, in Christ our past does not determine our future. The writer of Hebrews made much of this second oath, “You are a Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek” (Psalm 110:4). Jesus’ high priestly sacrifice brought believers into a right relationship with God through His blood, making us eligible to receive the blessings sworn to Abraham. Plus, Christ's continual intercession keeps us right with God. (Hebrews 7:25)

There’s great consolation, hope, and joy in understanding that God has sworn to bless you and that Christ’s priestly intercession keeps you worthy to receive.  For these twin reasons, "…all the promises of God in Him [Christ] are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us" (2 Corinthians 1:20).
